LET ME TELL YOU MY AMIGA HISTORY...

My first contact with an Amiga was then a friend introduced it to me in the late 80's (1989 I think)
After that moment I was completely sold. This fantastic computer changed my life forever!

I got my first Amiga 500 with 1mb extra memory for christmas (1989 I think). I had this
computer for 3 years and mostly played games with friends at that time.

Later on in 1993 I bought an Amiga 1200. Then early in the next year I got a 60mb harddrive
and a 68020 turbocard with 4mb ram for my birthday. I then could use my Amiga for more
than playing games... well actually, I could do everythng!

In 1995, I bought my first modem, and had it upgraded several times, 14.4k, 28.8k and so on.
I started to call up some bulletin boards and got a phone bill on 800$ in ONE MONTH!.
I remember my parents wasn't that happy with me that month :).

Just because BBS's were so fun, I of course wanted to start one of my own... and I did. I set up
a bulletin board named SHARKY'S BBS in 1996. This was one of the best moments of my life.
Sharky's bbs was alive til year 2002 and then was put offline due to the reason that nobody called
anymore. Most people at this time had gone over to the Internet.

In 1997 i got a job. I could then buy as much Amiga stuff as I wanted. I can easily say
I bought LOTS of stuff :-) I recently checked my recieps and saw that I spent
over $4500 on my Amigas!!!

I was a bit lame sometimes and bought lots of stuff, and short after, I sold it for half the price!

I think I owned about:
4x Amiga 500
5x Amiga 1200
3x Amiga 4000

I bought those expensive powerpc cards for some of my Amigas as well :).
Graphics cards, sounds cards, towers etc..

Anyway in the year 2000 I started with my "AMIGA TABLE".
I worked on this for almost a year and think the result of the hard work was worth it.

A year later I did this: "The Amiga Audio Player"

If you didn't know, more pictures of both these projects can be found in MY ALBUM.

I have no time right now to explain how I did these projects. But I may update this page
with more info someday. I think I explained little on MY OLD HOME PAGE, or try to
search after my name on google and you may find something.

You may wonder what I do today... not much really. Of course I want to start doing projects
like this again, but have no time (or money hehe).

I gladly accept any suggestions for stuff to make in the future :). So contact me if you have any ideas.
Personaly I was thinking of an "Amiga Audio Player II" or maybe an "Amiga Box"
(Like a console machine in a rack case).

I also record speedrun and longplay movies for the RECORDED AMIGA GAMES WEBSITE.
I think this is a cool idea, so I recommended to check out that site.
